The Bad News

Frequently people lose weight successfully and then gain it all back. Why?   This New York Times article explains why after losing weight, the need for caloric intake decreases.  Folks think they can return to “normal” meaning unbridled eating after losing weight.  This, unfortunately, isn’t true.  Slightly modifying the food plan that allowed for the weight loss is a more successful approach to long term weight maintenance.
